Psalm 9 is a testament to God’s faithfulness. David wrote it to celebrate God’s goodness and the fact that he is our helper.
I love verse 1! David says; “I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.” It is important to remember that when we praise the Lord or when we are thanking Him for bringing us through a battle, we MUST do so with our whole heart. The Lord does not want half-hearted praise and the “thanks but…” prayers.
This Psalm is a good reminder that although we may at times feel weak or defeated, we must take heart because God’s righteousness and plan will always win in the end.
